Owner's remarks: "Bavaria 42 first owner, 3 cabins, mainsail on cars, genoa on furling. This Bavaria 42 has only known one family who has just decided (reluctantly) to sell it for reasons of age. If you come to see it, you will find a number of things to do that the seller leaves to the buyer's discretion to schedule after the purchase, such as: replacing a set of sails, replacing the sail drive seal, some minor cosmetic work here and there, but overall the boat deserves your full attention especially since the asking price is very attractive today. The interior upholstery and flooring have always been protected and are therefore in good condition."
The BAVARIA 42 is built in accordance with design category A, "Offshore" (module Aa). This design category requires that the sailing yacht be suitable for long cruises with winds exceeding 8 (Beaufort scale) and waves over 4 meters, allowing it to sail largely under its own power. It also means that the manufacturer certifies the compliance of the construction and equipment with the directives, but that stability and freeboard, as well as buoyancy and flotation, have been verified by an accredited control body.
